Analyze Personnel Skills vs. PM Tasks.
MaintSmart helps you analyze maintenance engineers' skills vs. the tasks needed to complete PMs in their work area*. Skills are defined in the configuration section of MaintSmart. Examples may be Machinist 1, PLC Programmer, Basic PMs, etc. These skills are then mapped to (associated with) various PM tasks required for the maintenance engineers work area. The above screen shot demonstrates the skill/task relationship guiding you towards selecting the proper person for the proper work area. Work areas are not required but may be useful in a zone-maintenance situation. Notice the drop-down box listing of unmapped skills.
*work area = grouping of equipment items potenially maintained by one individual. MaintSmart provides a way to use skill-based, zone-based or freely assigned PM maintenance.
