Define User Groups to Secure Functions and Screens
What? Why do I need to secure functions and screens? MaintSmart lets you create user groups and add users to those groups. User groups are groups of maintSmart users that are given various levels of access to speciif parts of MaintSmart. For example suppose you want you shift maintenance engineers to enter equipment down time as it occurs but you don't want hem to be able to change or delete any existing records. No problem simply create a user group ( for example: name it "Basic User" or "Maintenance Man") and add the desired users to it after creating their user names and passwords. Now you have more free time without being concerned with data integrity. Create as many user groups as you like.
MaintSmart also logs user access. This provides a way for you to see how long users have been working with MaintSmart.
MaintSmart save you time by allowing subordinates limited access to MaintSmart to perform data entry, etc. through user groups and permissions.
