Simple to Use Reliability Analysis.

The above grid is generated in response to you selecting a Date Period, and Analysis Method and in this case an Equipment Area or Work Area. An equipment area is a user defined grouping of equipment items maintained by one individual. Notice the column headings for the grid. Instantaneous Estimate of Reliability is a method used to estimate reliability where there isn't an abundance of data to draw from. Failure Rate is shown as Increasing, Decreasing or Insufficient Data. In this case the user wanted to know the chances of equipment failure for all equipment items in the Bread Oven/Cooler work area during a 100 hour production run. MaintSmart's answers are listed in this column. The last column is the Mean (or Average) Time Between Failures. This value is of particular importance as it gives you an idea how long an equipment item ususally runs between failures. MaintSmart uses MTBF later looking closely at the MTBF for each failure cause then associating user assigned tasks with these failure causes for the purpose of building PM lists that are effective and efficient. No other CMMS does this! This is a tremendously powerful money-saving feature of this software.

Of course you may print this grid or automatically chart any 2 columns in Excel 97+.

MaintSmart performs reliability analysis on specific failure causes for the purpose of building the optimum PM list. No other CMMS does this.
