Create Metered Work Orders in Seconds.

Meters provide a way for you to trigger work order creation based upon a meter reading. Examples of meter units might be hours (from an equipment hour meter), cycles, miles (odometer reading), cuts (a sawmill), cans (in a cannery operation), days (a calendar based meter), etc.

You may optionally direct MaintSmart to guess current and last performed readings when a meter linked work order is completed or MaintSmart prompts you for this information. Of course you may also directly edit these values from the Meters screen (not shown above) at any time.

Built-in "Day" meter is available for date based meters. Once this meter is established NO additional user input is required to maintain this meter. MaintSmart looks for expired "Day" meters, prompts you if it finds any then automatically uses the inventory parts linked to these jobs (if any). Part-linking has several options and may be turned on or off as needed.

Just think, with two mouse-clicks you can create all of the work orders needed for the day and create all of the inventory usage records for these work orders (if any) at the same time. Now this is a powerful, time-saving feature!

Creating metered work orders with MaintSmart is effortless.
