Define Your Spare Parts Inventory
MaintSmart CMMS makes it simple to define all of your spare parts inventory. Shortcuts abound such as duplicating common data items, mass copy of one plant's (or top-level entity) entire inventory to another plant or plants. Barcodes make it simple to locate an item in the inventory grid. Just scan the barcode and MaintSmart instantly locates the item. MaintSmart CMMS associates spare parts with their equipment item or it associates parts with generic user defined part groups such as fasteners, screens, lubricants, etc. By grouping similar inventory parts its simple to locate them when needed.
Notice the other menu items under the Options menu. In many cases MaintSmart's team of developers can import your existing inventory into MaintSmart. In some cases we'll perform this service free of charge.
MaintSmart allocates inventory (used) cost to the equipment item it was used on.
