Link Work Order To a P.O. (3:09)
Create a contractor work order then link to a P.O |
|
How To: Create
and Use a Work Order Template (basic) (2:09)
Work order templates (work order boiler
plates) create work orders automatically based upon
equipment condition, schedule or manually. |
|
How To: Create and Use a Work Order Template
(with inventory part links) (3:38)
Link parts to a work order template. Create a work
order from the template and MaintSmart either
automatically uses the linked parts or simply lists
them on the work order. |
|
How To: Create Work Orders Automatically - Link a
Work Order Template to a Meter (6:40)
Link a work order template to a 'meter'. A meter is
a unit of anything you define. With MaintSmart you
can even link a meter to a PLC memory address (any
OPC Compliant data) and MaintSmart will read the
data, update the meter and if conditions warrant
will even create the work order and print it to the
printer of your choice. |
PM (preventive maintenance) Topics: |
|
How To: Print and Filter a PM List (:51)
PMs
consist of a equipment item, task, interval, start date, due
date. PMs provide a list format and are quickly updated when
completed. Add unlimited task details to each
equipment/task/interval. |
|
How To: Update PM Task List Completions (1:20)
See how
fast and easy updating PM task completions is. All updates
are archive into PM history then then a new PM is created
with the appropriate start and due dates. |
|
How To: Linking Parts to a PM Task List (2:23)
Learn how to automatically use parts from inventory
when a PM is completed. |
Purchasing/Inventory Topics: |
| How To: Use the Inventory Tree View to Create a Drag and Drop Purchase Requisition (4:30)
Create a
P.O. then add parts to the P.O. Next receive the
parts into inventory so that they may be used.
Un-receive parts with almost no effort. Performing
partial receives is simple. |
| How To: Use the Part Search Utility to Locate Parts (6:34)
Search for parts using up to nine (9) filters at once. Useful for locating part for parts usage, PO creation, inventory audit and more. Very flexible search capability. |
|
How To: Create a New P.O., Add Items to the
P.O. then Receive the Items
(7:41)
Create a
P.O. then add parts to the P.O. Next receive the
parts into inventory so that they may be used.
Un-receive parts with almost no effort. Performing
partial receives is simple. |
Down Time (equipment failures) Topics: |
|
How To: Create a New Down Time Record (2:08)
MaintSmart tracks down time (equipment
failures). Optionally have MaintSmart create the
appropriate work order based upon the failure
cause and equipment item. |
|
How To: Edit a Down Time Record (1:20)
Change a down time record in seconds. These
principles apply to editing for most data grids
in MaintSmart. |
Hot Sheet Topics: |
|
How To: Configure the Hot Sheet (2:42)
Set up
the hot sheet to display the maintenance item most important
to you. For example maybe you want to quickly see what parts
need to be ordered, what equipment failures occurred the
yesterday where the failure time was greater than 10 minutes
(example). |
|
How To: Use the Hot Sheet (4:13)
MaintSmart's hot sheet provides a way to create
work orders, PM task lists, P.O.s and requisitions while
viewing the most important items of the day as defined by
you. |
Auto-Print Scheduler Topics: |
| How To: Use the Print Scheduler (14:26)
This demo explains in detail how to set up and actvate scheduler print jobs. These settings are normally activated on one
computer that is being used for scanning print
jobs that are scheduled. Scheduling may be by
either calendar date/time or weekday/time. When
the scanner identifies a print schedule that has
become due MaintSmart automatically prints the
job (or multiple print jobs) immediately to the
printer designated then automatically resets the
print schedule to the next appropriate
date/time.
This
is a really powerful feature! |
Analysis Topics (Down Time/Equipment Failures): |
|
Down Time (Equipment Failure) Analysis
(3:18)
Example of how to analyze down time (equipment
failure) data and determine where to focus your
resources in order to prevent future failures. |
|

|
Top 10 Down Time Instances (Equipment Failure) Analysis
(4:36)
Example of how to analyze the top failure instances or the
top percent of (either the worst or best) equipment failures
down time (equipment failure) data and determine where to
focus your resources in order to prevent future failures. |
